The only connection I can think of is that the lead singer of the 1975 is a total cretin, which is somewhat reminiscent of how irritating Thom was in the Pablo Honey era.

How are people who call themselves Radiohead fans so naïve about stuff like Ill Wind and In Rainbows Disk 2? Seriously...do these people never venture outside of Spotify to hear music? They never do a casual google search of Radiohead when the new records come out? If you pay attention at all, you'd know about these tracks. (insert 2+2 reference...)
