I'd like to hear their studio attempts at it on a release like the leaked tapes or something but I agree in terms of polishing it up for a future Radiohead album.
Robjonas 100
FMA needs a release like Lift. Clean up a studio attempt and throw it to the wolves.
booger bear 307
The MPIE version is my favorite. If they do release it they have to get rid of that outdated "did you lie to us Tony" line.
hysterical.useless 181
You think Thom drops a single before the whole album drops a week from today?
no452 31
They should just bootleg the unedited MPIE soundtrack. So many interesting performances in there.

booger bear 307
The acoustic version could fit on an album or EP with Wake Me and Come to Your Senses.
Duff 163
How can you have a song called Dawn Chorus and not make it the first track?
booger bear 307
We already have Dawn Chorus and it's the beginning of the Burn the Wich video. 2
Belly of a Whale 4
I'm really digging the brown and orange. Hope the album matches the vibe of the artwork.
Master shortpants 5
you guys think it'll pretty much sound like the live show or he'll edit it to sound like a more traditional Yorke record? A lot of these songs were formless and unimpressive to me live, I think a lot of them need an extra something to be worthwhile

forward 120
I don't get when people say things like 'a typical Thom Yorke record' or 'one of his best solo songs.' What is a typical sound from him? The Eraser and Tomorrow's Modern Boxes sound pretty markedly different. The former is skittery and beat driven and a little more reliant on guitars and basses as well as choruses, structures that fill the personality of the song... Tomorrow's Modern Boxes seems completely made with computers and is slower, more hazy, far more electronic, and there's almost no lyricism in comparison. 5
AusMakka 48
Not sure whether I'm excited for this or not. I liked The Eraser, wasn't a huge fan of TMB's and am a bit up in the air with some of his live stuff these days. After hearing the minidisc leaks I'd be more excited for a solo acoustic album from Thom. But that's just me....we'll see what it's like first.
Fox 15
I love The Eraser. TMB is interesting but felt a mechanical and it didn't resonate with me emotionally. So im kind of hoping that he pulls it back a bit and the tracks actually feel like songs and less like backing tracks for a fashion show.
no452 31
Each time I'm almost ready to board the hype train, I listen to a live performance of some of the unreleased tracks and it still sounds like rubbish to me. Hopefully they make it work for the record.
DokiDokiJeff 30
This is going to be Thom's House record. Expect repetitive bleep bloops with a lot of random moaning/singing. Edited June 21, 2019 by DokiDokiJeff
Fox 15
just had a listen to some of the live tracks and its difficult because his vocals aren't great on any of those live performances. Can't judge right now, but i assume this will be bleep bloop soup.

I feel like I recall them saying it might be something like that around the same time that Rolling Stone article happened in the middle of the AMSP tour and they said they were considering a “guitar, bass, and drums” record, but I might’ve imagined it entirely.
