The Melbourne show you can hear him crack and lose his voice terribly. They had to cut an encore and cancel the following show. https://www.nme.com/news/music/radiohead-730-1358530

I wish it existed in better quality than the hissy mp3! I believe a pre-FM soundboard flac exists for the first night, but not the second 😞

Girl in the Purple Dress 310
Wynton Marsalis seems to be wanting to kick Thom s ass with tone on his version of daily battles

Girl in the Purple Dress 310
It’s like wynton is a cell phone with a porn video of 5 black dudes bouncing on one happy white girl like they were the Harlem Globetrotters and she were a basketball while Thom is a white dude from the 18th century horrified at what he’s witnessing yet awe inspired at the magical technology he’s holding in his palm
Girl in the Purple Dress 310
That is the comparison of tonality between the two men and their versions of that song or so it may seem Edited November 20, 2020 by Girl in the Purple Dress

Girl in the Purple Dress 310
But aside from that, the chromatic dip that wynton takes at the end of the chorus is a nice a adjustment to Thoms anguished harsh interval. It seems to want to give Thom a gentle lesson in maturity. Don’t poor gasoline on the fire, Thom. Sooth the people. It’s a nice thing to do, especially when your tone is already fucking him like everything he believes is a lie.
